As a new combined Group, AbacusLandmark will be attending the upcoming European Business Aviation Conference & Exhibition (EBACE) to be held at Palexpo, Geneva, from 21st to 23rd May.
During the Show, Nigel Carter, Managing Director of our Geneva office, and Alex Beetham, Client Director at Malta office, will be meeting with Business Owners, Clients, Intermediaries and Industry Experts to discuss the ownership and management of luxury assets. A particular focus will be placed on the Malta aviation offering – including the recent aviation successes and achievements in Malta – and how superyachts and private jets can be used in conjunction, but owned and operated independently.
Commenting on the upcoming Show, Alex said: “Malta offers aircraft registration to both the private and commercial aircraft markets and the Register also permits fractional ownership, registration of aircraft whilst under construction and engine registration, giving aircraft owners/part owners the flexibility in how they utilise their aircraft whether be it for commercial or private use, or a mixture of both.”
“Having AbacusLandmark recently attended the Business Aviation Conference and the Opportunities in Superyachts series of conferences in Malta, it is clear that both the aviation and superyacht industries continue to grow at a steady pace. However, when purchasing a high value asset such as a private jet or a superyacht it is essential to consider any financial implications or other liabilities which vary greatly depending on the intended use of the asset. Whether for commercial or private use, placing your asset in a carefully structured ownership entity can help manage risk, tax and privacy issues.” Nigel added.
“We are looking forward to attending EBACE as it will provide a great networking platform for us to discuss the potential benefits available to owners by using Malta for aircraft and yacht importation, ownership and registration, and to promote AbacusLandmark’s full range of corporate structures and services.”
Nigel and Alex will be happy to meet with attendees and fellow exhibitors to discuss the importance and benefits of structuring luxury assets as well as any requirements they may have.
